Countries Named After a Person Quiz

There are roughly 18 countries named for a person, can you name them all?
This does not include countries named after "people", such as "Russia" being named after the "Rus'".
This number is disputed, so please let me know if I'm missing any.

You should add Kiribati (named after Thomas Gilbert). The word Kiribati (the "ti" is read like "s") is a native/Gilbertese transliteration of the word "gilbertese".
