technically new delhi is just a neighbourhood in delhi we count the whole Delhi-NCR region as capital btw NCR-national capital region it includes delhi as a whole along with satellite smaller cities mainly IT and industrial hubs like Gurgaon , Noida , dwarka , Faridabad , meerut and Ghaziabad and many other smaller villages and towns

Would suggest a quiz similar, BUT only with the cities that surpass their countries' capital.
Let me explain myself: all the Chinese cities that surpass Beijing would do, but those that are below Beijing wouldn't do.

or how about one of those "quiz with exceptions" quizzes? In this case, exclude India and China.

If Guangzhou is listed at 45.6M, then Karachi should be higher than Mumbai.

New York state has a population of 19 million. This quiz says that New York city has a population of 22 million. That makes no sense, for New York city has a population of 8.5 million.

North Jersey, which is very populous is considered part of the New York metro area. The southwest corner of Connecticut (Greenwich) is probably counted too. Look at New York City on a map. It's in a little nook surrounded by mainland New York, Long Island, New Jersey, and Connecticut. People commute from all four of those areas to New York City for work.

The New York metro area includes large chunks of New York state, Connecticut, New Jersey, and even a bit of Pennsylvania. Upstate New York is not very populous. The biggest city there is Buffalo, which is tiny by comparison.

There is a really good Chinese restaurant around the corner from me called Chengdu Impression, and while taking this quiz I thought "I should really get some Chinese food tonight"...and I still missed Chengdu. For shame.

That's a kind of mixed name for a restaurant, isn't it? "Is this food Szechuan food from Chengdu?" "Well, it's an IMPRESSION, actually."
