It should be added.

From Wikipedia: "Conquest of the Middle East and Central Asia by Alexander the Great firmly consolidated the influence of Hellenistic culture. The Greeks founded new cities in the area of modern-day Jordan, including Umm Qays, Jerash and Amman."

Tajikistan is stunningly beautiful. Google some pictures.

Though I would consider living 9 of these places and it's not one of them.

It's hard to say which is why I only included countries that he conquered 25% of. And if you read the rest of the comments you'll see why I added Cyprus.

BTW what's about Romania and Uzbekistan according to your map?

No Jordan or India? For India, I know he failed, but didn't he conquer some of India? As for Jordan, I think he got it from Persia after being the ruler of Persia.
+4
Level 76
Aug 3, 2020
Nope - he actually didn't even reach India. Historically, "India" also comprised of Pakistan, and that's the part of "India" he reached/briefly conquered. Even the name "India" comes from the Indus river, which mainly runs through Pakistan.

Honestly, even though we Pakistanis know we are tied so close to India, we are sick of people saying, "oh you're just like Indians, right?" like bruh, India and Pakistan have as much in common as the UK and US have.
+3
Level 67
Aug 3, 2020
I guess if the UK and the US were bordering each other as Pakistan and India are, many people would probably make the same comment about them. Or let's say there wouldn't be such a misunderstanding if Pakistan and India were separated by an ocean.
