This is a nice idea for a quiz, but I feel like some of the things are a bit too specific. Like, maybe just "candy" or "pie."
"Baked Alaska"? I've heard of it, but it's not something most people would generally eat, except maybe as a special treat.
As a Southerner, I take exception to grits being on this list. Grits is no more unhealthy than polenta, oatmeal, or farina, unless you go pouring syrup or sugar on it (which we don't do in the South), or loading it down with butter (which we might). It's really kind of an American version of polenta.
I was going to take exception to cobbler, too, since it's just fruit pie with a biscuit crust on top, but I see that apple pie and key lime pie are also listed.
