The 56 Chinese Ethnicities

1. This list includes ethnic groups of Taiwan as well. 2. Excluding ethnic groups included in the unrecognized ethnic groups such as Lai, Deng, or Gejia (未识别民族). 3. The groups' names were presented in their native languages as a hint. However, some don't have a written script despite every minority having their own language(except for the Gin ethnic group which speaks a dialect of Wu), and some inevitably became give aways. 4. Several scripts (including Mongolian) are erraneously presented due to web interfaces. 5. Statistics are as of 2010.
