Here I killed it in just over a minute & I thought oh the timer is going to have to be shortened. I guess I'm watching too much news.

Too much news? Nah, only if you get homicidal or suicidal. I got all of them in 2:29 (was having a hard time with Egypt). I'd rather have the knowledge of who these people are than the current flavors of the month in the entertainment world.

I had 2 minutes left on the timer. However, I probably recognised only half of them and then just thought about countries whose leaders might be well known in the US. That made it very easy.

For Brazil, Turkey, Spain, Mexico and Egypt, I just guessed famous countries that the person looked like they were from.

I didn't really think the Mexican leader looked like you might commonly expect a Mexican person to look

Very easy up until the last one. Didn't recognize that guy. Would have recognized his predecessor, though.

The only way I was going to know the Egyptian leader was by the golden eagle in the background of the photo.

Putin is recognized by 100%, Trump by 99%.
Trump wouldn't have it any other way.

That's why I didn't get Brazil and Mexico oops. Should've known about Brazil's leader since the recent elections and all the... talks surrounding him.

I didn't even know Mexico's had changed. I got used to the guy telling Trump where to put his idea that Mexico was paying for his wall and he hasn't even been President for 10 or 12 years, long before Trump got in.
Yes, I know "the guy's" name's Fox. I'm that up to date.

Missed the last one. I guessed his country for a few others but he looks European. Good quiz. Opportunity for a second with the likes of South Africa, New Zealand, Philipines, Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Italy not being used. Though I suspect it would be a tough quiz.

The photo of the Egyptian leader, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, has the Egyptian flag in the background. You might want to change that as it gives away the answer.

Both Trump and Bolsonaro have decidedly evil smiles. They could both gain work as B-movie villains once there political careers are over(hopefully sooner rather than later). Macron, too, looks very uncomfortable smiling, as if he is not quite sure what is happening, or he's wondering if he's left the back door unlocked, or he's suddenly realised mid-fake-smile that he forgot to pay the gas bill.

The Mexican leader appears as a charming British gentleman with impeccable manners and a never ending supply of utterly delightful stories.
