what??? there's no way this is right. I mean I lived near Washington DC most of my life. No way more people visit Union Station than the National Mall or Smithsonian or the Capital. Probably the Washington Monument and Arlington National Cemetery get more tourists, too. Union Station might see more people period just because it's still in use as a transportation terminal, but those aren't all tourists, and I bet in terms of total people the Mall and Smithsonian still see more. Same probably goes with NY's Grand Central. I tried Broadway, Empire State Building, etc. I've been to NY many times. I missed Niagara Falls because all my life I thought it was Niagra Falls... I've been there, too. Used to live in San Francisco as well. I type in Fisherman's Wharf. Pier 39 is part of Fisherman's Wharf, so... the Wharf in general would get more visitors. Maybe you could accept both answers? I tried "the strip" and "Vegas strip" for Las Vegas, was denied. Maybe you could add those?

and finally, I've also been to Paris, and can't believe more people visit Sacre Coeur than visit The Louvre or the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe or even Versailles. I mean, Sacre Coeur is way up on the hilltop overlooking the city while the first 3 of those other things I mentioned are right in the heart of Paris and easy to get to. The tower is much more famous and the louvre is much more worth visiting. Very surprising if true.
