Magic: The Gathering (MTG) Legacy Ban List

Name every card which is currently banned in the Legacy MTG format as of November 2023. Cards are listed in the order that they were banned. Cards banned at the same time are in alphabetical order, unless it's a full cycle which then follows color order. Since the format was first formed in 1996 with all cards which had either been banned or restricted in Vintage immediately banned in Legacy, we will consider all cards banned or restricted before then to have been banned in 1996.
I am not including any cards with the ante mechanic, the Conspiracy card type, or ones banned for racist depictions.
