This is a fantastic quiz! Could I ask where you found the information to make the map? I went searching for more detailed maps of these county divisions out of curiosity, but I couldn't find much.

I've returned after a while to try again. Whoever came up with these names should be sacked. Why is there no consistency with whether directions come before or after the thing they describe? Why do only some of the directions have -ern? What on earth is Sargent, other than being close to the name of a town (Sargents) in a different county? Why are 98% of them named after political geography, but two randomly in El Paso are named for mountains?
