Yeah there were a few like that: i kept thinking Tom Ripley, Tony Montana, Velma Venkman. It's like when you get a name in your head, you can't think of another
Well there's a treat in store for YOU!! One of the great movies of all time: 'The Princess Bride'. Inigo Montoya (a supporting character) is on a quest to find the man who killed his father; and every time he thinks he's found him he draws his sword, assumes the en garde position and says: 'Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!' Watch that movie once and if you ever run across the name Inigo Montoya you will remember where it comes from.
Don't forget that Inigo's line must be said with a Spanish accent. I liked the movie the first "thousand" times my kids watched it, but they quoted from it until I wanted to scream. A friend of theirs even played a clip of the "mawwiage" scene at the beginning of his wedding. It was pretty funny.
Jake LaMotta shouldn't be in this category, imo. While "LaMotta" is an easy clue, it's a curious choice to include a real life character from a biopic when there are tens of thousands of fictional characters from which to choose.
