Pigs, Hedgehogs, Bats, and Crabs are all omnivores, not herbivores. There are no sub-species of any of these that eat ONLY plants. Whether they may be primarily herbivorous is not the issue. Pigs and Crabs eat flesh, and Hedgehogs and Bats all eat insects.

Thanks for the comment. The quiz doesn't say that pigs and hedgehogs are herbivores - they are both incorrect answers to that question.

The large flying fox is described on its wiki page as feeding "exclusively on fruits, nectar, and flowers". There are similar articles for other large bats. Happy to adjust that if you have a better source that contradicts it.

Not sure where I got the crab thing from! Remember reading something but it was quite possibly a dubious source. Will have a look when I have a moment and if I can't find anything will change it :)

From this research paper: "Chlorodesmis is a low preference food for reef fishes but appears to be the only food of the crab Caphyra rotundifrons and the ascoglossan gastropods Elysia sp. and Cyerce nigricans. The crab is found only in patches of Chlorodesmis, feeds solely on the alga, and selectively shelters in it in laboratory choice experiments."
