are you calling the commodore c64gs as commodore 64 and the sega megacd as the sega cd ?

no ouya or google stadia

also can odyssey 3 be a type in for the Videopac+ G7400

The Ouya and Google Stadia are mobile game consoles, so they don't really count. I'll update and accept Odyssey 3 for the Videopac, the Sega Mega CD is the Sega CD, and I'll look into the Commodore 64 Game System.

Famicom is the japanese nes it released in 1983.

The famicom disk system can be put as a seperate entry as it has its own games library.

Commodore 64 games system doesnt seem to be working

can mega drive be a type in for genesis and mega cd for the sega cd

Love this quiz by the way.

That is what I've listed the Famicom under, as the Disk System released in America. The Commodore 64 Games System worked for me, as well as the type-in I put (C64GS). I'll add mega drive and mega cd as type-ins. Thanks for liking it!

wow i thought the disk system was japan only.

Evercade is releasing a console now. December 21st was the release date i think

It is a great quiz though props to you

The quiz is missing the Nintendo Virtual Boy. I loved that system and all the headaches induced from hours of Mario Clash.

Excellent! A true challenge for true retrogamers, I love it. Nominated!

However, a few corrections:

-Could you accept Neo Geo Pocket instead of Pocket only? And what about the NGPC (Neo Geo Pocket Color)? Is it the same for you than the Game Boy Color? Nevertheless, that's understandable for WonderSwan Color and Swan Crystal.

-Please, think about us, kind Europeans, and accept PC-Engine, CD-ROM and PC-Engine GT.

-Could you accept VCS for Atari 2600?

-Same as above: what about the Virtual Boy...? And the iconic Tiger R-Zone?

-Talking about Tiger, that's a detail but I think you should differentiate the one of the Gizmondo (Telematics) and the one of the Game.com and R-Zone, which are two completely different companies.

-And what about the Pokémon Mini? That's a true handheld console without a unique game like a Tamagotchi, so I guess it should be in this quiz.

These precisions are just some details, but this quiz is truly an excellent one. Thank you very much for it and congratulations

Could you tell me what the PC-Engine etc. is referring to? I'd love to add them in as type-ins for Europeans

Thank you very much, it was quick!

PC-Engine is the name given to the TurboGrafx in Europe (and actually in Japan too, if I remember correctly).

Given how many of these I've never even heard of before, I'm pretty surprised you didn't include the Virtual Boy, as bad as that system was at least it had a wide release and pretty big advertising campaign behind it.

Also.. don't recall the original Neo Geo ever being referred to as anything other than a Neo Geo. Missed that one.

Well, "AES" was used for the disambiguation with the MVS, which was an arcade system, also simply called Neo Geo. But yeah, I guess "Neo Geo" could be accepted.

Level 95

Baptiste is right, I used AES to differentiate between that and the MVS. However, Neo Geo is an accepted type-in now. I've also added the Virtual Boy!

I love this quiz. It made me feel pretty ignorant but I've had a good time looking things up on t' Internet. Imagine someone making and marketing a console simply for improving your bridge! And at £200 in 1985! I wonder how many survive.

I'm a bit confused by the inclusion of the Commodore 64... surely it's a computer rather than a console?

+1
Level 95

The Commodore 64 was included because many considered it both a console and a computer.
