Well you get credit for either West Virginia or Penn State for Hostetler. Penn State is an old-school football powerhouse, so a lot of people probably just put it in as a guess (I know I did). I did not think to try Louisville.

I think it's simply due to the fact that the Mountaineers and Nittany Lions are much better known than the Cardinals. People may be aware of their existence since Teddy Bridgewater, but it's not common knowledge to know that they had a legendary QB back in those days.
