The reason is that there aren't many cities beginning with G. I have to use more obscure cities unlike other letters, and even then there aren't as many cities as usual.
I thought this too, but Grenoble is clearly in a different spot. They're not quite as close as you'd think, seeing as they're both alpine near the French border.
Sure, this quiz is taken by veterans who search for it. But featured quizzes have to be accessible to a larger audience—the average person would not get more than 2 on here.
As for the H quiz, I would suggest to limit it to 20 answers. The only problem is there would only be one left in Asia but it's the biggest metro area in the world ;).
Seconded. I got 14/25, so I missed some not too obscure ones too, but cutting those that have less than 10% (5 least guessed) wouldn't really be too bad.
What about swapping Gwangju (6%) and Guiyang (5%) for other well known G cities in SK/CH? Guilin in China and Gyeongju in SK are both very popular tourist cities and might be better known world wide.
Either way thanks for these series of quizzes, really enjoying them.
Why don't you reduce the number of answers to 20 and add Ghent in replace of Greensboro or another lesser known US city? Maybe then we can get this featured.
Tough quiz, even for nerds. I got Green Bay and guessed (wrongly) Gary, Indiana. Only got one of the three US cities and one of the five Asian cities. Nominated.
As a Pakistani-American I have never heard of Gujranwala. I had to look it up because I couldn't let myself miss something from Pakistan smh. Kept trying Gilgit. Difficulty level hard indeed
