The most westerly point on Great Britain's mainland is Ardnamurchan Point in Scotland. Land's End is only the most westerly mainland point of England.

You would be right if the question asked the most westerly point on the mainland. As it didn't, I would suggest two possible answers. Firstly the island of Soay (just West of Hirta where the St Kilda heritage site is located) but possibly Rockall, if that is considered a part of Great Britain. However, neither of those could really be described as tourist attractions, so I agree with you that the question needs rephrasing.

I would have put Manchester for the home of Manchester United, but that's probably because I don't follow football.
