All World Capitals by Capitals between 2 Capitals within 2,000 km

Type two capital cities A and B one after the other and capital cities 'in between' will appear. Capital C is considered between the two if:

- it is within 2,000 km of both
- A is closer to C than to B
- B is closer to C than to A

Capital cities that aren't "between" any pair are shown at the start.

Example: typing PARISBERLIN will get you Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg, Bern, Vaduz
A black border indicated that only a few combinations make that capital appear: thickest border means 1 combination only, average border 2 or 3, thin border 4 or 5
Belgrade can be guessed with 708 different combinations (so it may hold the record for the longest type-in on this website...)
Hint: the best combination reveales 35 capitals and consists of 2 European Capitals whose initials are C and P; the best combination of 2 Asian Capitals reveals 13 Capitals, initial letters are R and T

How long did the type-ins take you to make?! Especially Belgrade, that's just insanity.

Excel did most of the work, as usual!

Lol. I've been using Excel a lot for quizzes like my "200 Biggest Cities in the World" series, "Countries w/ Most Men/Women" calculations, and "Demonyms of World Countries" and "All Countries in their Native Languages" (the latter two yet to be posted)

Depends on what computer you have. In my case, it's an Asus. (unfortunately some companies, such as Mac, don't support it). So I clicked F12, but for Acers and Dells you would click Ctrl+U and it brings you to the original source. I was very curious what "708 combos" of type-ins looked like, so I went there. :D
