Dawn of the JetPunk Empires - Part VII

Dutch people: We would really like to be free from PBC rule.

Zana Carib (leader of the Lowlands province): Why? The QB's are great! They made me leader of one of their provinces.

Dutch people: Good for you. We are gonna protest and start a rebellion against the caliphate.

Zana Carib: I'd better tell the QB's.

QB1: We are fine with giving the Netherlands independence. We were going to trade it to another empire anyway.

Dutch people: Hooray!

Zana Carib: Oh. That sucks! At least I still govern Belgium.

Felix: Ha ha! I can now invade and conquer the Netherlands now that they are not under PBC rule!

Felix sends his army into the Netherlands and occupies it. Unfortunately for him, ClutchNferno sent his own army into Kaliningrad, but was denied entry by the strong military resistance. Instead, he made a landing in Poland, and invaded from there. He pushed through and captured Warsaw, and the Polish provincial government surrendered to GrandOldLand. Felix quickly ordered his troops in the Netherlands to return and defend Germany. Clutch's army pushed in from Poland towards Berlin, but were forced to stop by a defensive blockade from the Second German Empire. A stalemate was locked just past the Polish-German border. Whilst the stalemate continued, Clutch sent a large division of his navy to make a landing at Kaliningrad. This time the landing was successful, and Kaliningrad fell to GrandOldLand. Now they had control of the super weapon that thegoatisgoaty and Felix had built there.

The stalemate continued at Berlin, but GrandOldLand made progress by taking over all of Bavaria. They continued to defeat German divisions around the south of Germany, and then pushed up the west taking over the Rhine and the Ruhr areas. Soon they pushed in from all directions and Berlin fell.

During the war, Felix decided it was best for thegoatisgoaty to control the Netherlands, and so with the fall of Berlin, and the Second German Empire, the Macedonian Empire remained in control of the Netherlands. GrandOldLand took the rest of the former Second German Empire.

Meanwhile, the QB's sent their troops into the UAE, and took the country to be part of their empire. They distributed brochures and advertisements across the other empires to entice them to holiday in Dubai. A few of the world emperors did so, and were rewarded with a free trip up the Burj Khalifa.

Emperor Geopro flies from Hobart to Delhi to discuss relationships, but most importantly, a trade agreement for Azerbaijan. After establishing an even stronger trade relation, they decide that Azerbaijan can be given to the GIE in exchange for a newly built Lunar Palace on the moon, with free transport to and from for Geopro. Geopro immediately embarks from Hobart and lands at his new palace, ready to explore the beginning of outer space!

Aficionado sets up trade for the natural gas that he acquires from Azerbaijan, and the KFC he acquires from Baku.

As a Christmas gift to the emperors, McKenzieFam gives everyone a 16-scoop ice cream from NZ, except for Geopro, who gets a 17-scoop one.

Aficionado gives everyone moondust, which is a token of good luck in space.

Geopro grants everyone 5 million AUD to help others' economies.

thegoatisgoaty is overjoyed that he was given almost all of Turkey. He uses Geopro's grant to go and visit every single ancient city in his empire, and makes plans to conquer or trade for other ones in Iraq and Italy.

Aside from that, he decides to work on his economy, in case of a war in the future.

The whole world sits down to watch Australia and England in the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. Will Australia claim the Ashes? Also they watch the take-off of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.

McKenieFam uses his grant from Geopro to fund a military campaign in Qatar. He takes it, but is surprised that he receives $17 change, from the 5 million he spent. He decides to go to NZ, and use the change to buy a humungous 17-scoop ice cream (because he didn't get one for himself on Christmas).

Also, McKenzieFam and Miecraftman make a trade deal where Blaze gets half of the Veggies nuclear weapons in exchange for half a million kilos of modified super-carrots.

MCM sells the carrots to various empires and then uses the money to purchase Santa Barbara from Chilefornia.

turnbacktwo: Is there a small country somewhere that we can easily take over? Keeping in mind it must have Atlantic coastline.

Royal advisor: Not really. Some of Canada has not yet been taken. Otherwise there is the Republic of Carolina's...

turnbacktwo: How about both! I'll send my troops to Carolina first, then I'll go to Canada.

Royal advisor: I'll organise that for you sire.

The Med-At army and some of their navy sails to the Carolina coast and lands at the beach. They begin their advance inwards, firstly taking the larger cities like Charleston, Columbia, Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro. Soon South Carolina falls, and the Med-At troops threaten to take the whole republic.

turnbacktwo orders a large final advance on Charlotte, and is surprised to see little to no resistance at all as they cease the capital. The Carolina troops however had snuck around behind the Med-At flanks, and made a quick dash for the coast. Most of their ships had been sunk by the Med-At navy, but two were still functional. They managed to fit a total of 3,000 troops onto the ships, but were forced to leave without the rest when the navy and army almost trapped them in the docks. The remainder of the Carolina troops were taken as POW's, but still treated nicely, with similar privileges as Med-At citizens.

Then the 'Great Sea Chase' began. The Med-At navy chased the Carolina army around the Atlantic, until the Carolina's made it to Bermuda. As soon as they arrived they began to make a defensive line to prevent a Med-At invasion, but the Med-At's were far too strong for only 3,000 troops anyway. They waited and waited for the enemy assault, but they couldn't even see the Med-At navy anywhere. They searched the ocean around the whole island, but they weren't there. Assuming they had given up and returned home, a small group of troops took a civilians boat to search the seas. After days and days of searching, they found nothing, but had not received news that the Med-At troops had arrived home either. They decided not to worry about it, and made their home on Bermuda.

Rumble! Rumble!

Suddenly a gigantic underground volcano began to erupt. It sent huge streams of molten lava kilometres into the air. It also sent a huge tsunami of sea water that pushed the boat ChineseChen and Ethaboo were on towards some of the Pacific islands.

A few days later, once the volcanic activity had settled down, ChineseChen and Ethaboo sailed back to where the volcano had erupted. To their amazement, several islands had solidified from the lava. A few already had people on them, but the largest one didn't. They landed on its rocky coast and raised a makeshift flag in a crack they found. They named the island Sawiwi, and declared themselves the founders, but made Almighty Dhruv the leader. Then they made this blog about it so everyone knew what was going on in their new country. They also declared war on the islands around them and fought against them, in an attempt to claim their land.

Wow! It's only been a week since last update, but so much has happened! We have the virtual takeover of the Second German Empire, and the Republic of Carolina, as well as the mysterious disappearance of some of the Med-Atlantic Empire's navy off America's coast. UAE, Qatar, and Bahrain have been taken over, and a few trades and things have been made. But most importantly was Christmas day, and a time to remember the earthly birth of Jesus Christ! And also we cannot forget the exchange of the huge 16, and 17-scoop ice creams. Well here is a summary once again of the empires:
