This is the deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest, between the years of 1988 and 2021 (recent source, that will be updated at the end of the year). The deforestation is sadly growing again.

Belo Horizonte had a big increase of population through the years, since its inauguration in 1897. As a big, busy, cultural, and unique city, with many employment opportunities, good infrastructure, and high life quality levels, nothing new that attract many people to it, as like a magnet. São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are the two most populous cities of Brazil. Their expansion is really interesting for take note and put in a chart. Since 1940, big changes occurred with both cities. When the changing of capitals from Rio to Brasília started in 1960, Rio saw São Paulo, start a big and vertiginous expansion, which made it a megalopolis, with actually the double of population.
