Umm, could you rewrite the Japan clue? Sure the clue is right, the country has a population of over 10 million, but it is pretty misleading. Instead write "a population over 100 million."

It's way more interesting this way. I mean there are only 13 countries with a population > 100 million. Super easy to take a wild guess. But 89 with a population > 10 million makes you think about the actual answer more.

Isn't Russia Europes largest oil exporter? I don't want to start the whole Asian/European debate here, but on JP, Russia is usually considered European. Excluding it does make the question more interesting though, so I'm all for it, but I think you should mention it somehow.

I haven't looked it up but I believe Russia is a large oil producer, but does not really export as much. They consume most of what they produce.

Not true, Russia's economy is very dependent on oil exports. That's why the US was able to cripple the USSR economy, by having Saudi-Arabia flood the markets with cheap oil and artificially bring down the oil price. That's the same they are trying again, to cripple the oil-export-dependent economies of Venezuela, Russia and Iran. Since the latter part of the 1990s, Russia has been (by a large margin) the world's second largest exporter of oil, behind only Saudi-Arabia.

I think without exception the words that are spelled -our in British are spelled -or in American English. Labour/labor, Neighbour/neighbor, Colour/color etc.

Thank you for pointing out that Mexico BORDERS the Caribbean Sea, instead of claiming that is part of the Caribbean, as some have done..
