Stress? I doubt it, although it is stressful being a lawyer from California. I think the likely culprit is cramming every single California law into your mind at the same time.That is bad for your health Pops! At our age we've gotta be careful.
Try upping that Gingko Biloba. And if you've got to cram things into your mind, start with a small list, like a list of all the countries in the world, or all 50 States. Or if that seems too daunting, start with a list of your favorite politicians. That's doable for any American! ;)
It's spelt 'Sweden'.

Things also boil down to English not having a language authority, so any editor/webmaster/Quizmaster ultimately make their own decision about the choice of official or unofficial name, or the choice between long and short form.
