Founder of the Jesuits was Ignatius of Loyola. Francis Xavier was one of six first followers, certainly one of Ignatius' closest companions but not the leader/founder.
Co-founder according to Wikipedia, but I agree that clue probably wasn't the best since Ignatius of Loyola was the first leader. The clue has been changed.
