If anyone has a suggestion for a better title for the quiz, I am looking for one. It was originally called Geography Bee (like a geographical version of a spelling bee) but I'm not sure if that was the best name. Anyway, thanks for playing!

Fun quiz! It'll be better with more starting points

Thanks! The problem with multiple starting points is that the point of the quiz is to see how far you can progress (from the start). Having multiple starting points would affect the answer stats and not show accurately how far most people get.

You could have different starting points like I did with my Hidden Geography quizzes, which were inspired by this. I think it works pretty well because it's like mini versions of this. You could make a section for countries, a section for capitals, a section for former names, etc.

Thanks! I was planning on doing a longer quiz with multiple starting points, ever since luxio suggested it, but I clearly haven't gone any further. Nice idea with the different sections for different categories.

Good quiz, but I really think you should replace Oceania with Australia. I know the Jetpunk standard is to use Oceania so that Pacific island nations can be neatly included, and I appreciate that, but it makes no sense to include the islands for something like how flat a continent is, especially considering that the islands are not physically part of the continent.

Thank you. I believe Australia is an accepted type in, so I think I'll leave it for now, to comply with JetPunk standards.

It depends on whether you are referring to the continent as a landmass (in that case Australia makes more sense), or as a large region/geographical area (then Oceania is more appropriate)

Why were the quiz orderings within the series changed?

Wdym? I switched quizzes 1 and 4 if that's what you mean. That was just because I thought no.4 was better than no.1, so I changed them around. If that's what you mean, then I'm surprised you noticed!

Edit: I see it's in the url

Massive drop off at the sea question. I think that question is harder than the next four in line.

I guessed Barents Sea though, but the answer is a subsea of the Barents Sea!

Couple things:

-Mt. Unzen is nowadays considered to be the oldest active volcano. Just looked this up again after taking the quiz. I guessed Etna anyway.

-Is New York’s metro surface area larger than Jacksonville or Juneau? Or Tokyo, for that matter? Not sure on that one. Again, guessed and got it.
