So what did they find out about Ozzy? Personally, I'm not sure that actually survived. His body is technically alive, but....

Keith Richards is in much better shape, and has done as many or more drugs than ozzy. I'd be more interested in his genome

Sonny isn't accepted for Sonny Bono? Also, wasn't SARS also known as avian flu?

Yes, please accept Sonny. He was famous as Sonny from Sonny and Cher.

SARS and Bird (Avian) Flu are different viruses. I always get them mixed up as well, I think because they both started in Hong Kong/China at a similar time.

His surname is Bono, by all means accept that, but if you want Sonny, you'd have to accept Michael for M Jackson which is not the standard.

He's mainly known as Sonny from Sonny and Cher. Michael Jackson isn't known as Michael so no, you wouldn't have to accept that.

Would you accept gasohol or E10 instead of ethanol? I'm no scientist but I first tried gasohol instead of ethanol. I thought ethanol was the alcohol additive blended with gasoline to make the resulting biofuels which have names such as E10, E85, gasohol, etc. I realize ethanol can be burned alone, but I think most biofuel blends in the US are E10 (gasohol.)

Never heard of gasohol... but I see stickers at gas pumps often that say the gasoline there is 10% ethanol or whatever... and in the mid-west corn producing countries some gas stations will ask if you want regular or ethanol.

Gasohol is an older term, used when ethanol was first added to gasoline in the late 70's or early 80's

My dad works in the buisness, and the fuel mixed with gasoline is called ethanol, after it's mixed it can be considered E10 or 10% ethanol.

Exactly. E10 is not a correct answer to the question as posed.

Okay, I'll make one more try in the name of pedantry. The clue asked for the biofuel, not one of the components. Ethanol itself isn't a biofuel unless you've converted your car to run on moonshine. Ethanol is the type of alcohol blended with gasoline to make the biofuel. The stickers at the pump tell you what percentage of ethanol is blended with the gasoline to make the biofuel. You can say ethanol blend, or E10, E15, E85, etc. IMO the clue would be better if it had said "What controversial fuel additive makes up 9.9% etc.." (BTW we were part owners of a gasohol plant in the 1980s and I didn't realize that term is no longer widely used. I still hear it in my rural area.) I see gasohol is the same thing as E10, so I agree it is incorrect, but IMO so is the clue as it is worded.

Why is ethanol a controversial biofuel? It burns like any other, releases CO2 and H2O like any other and so on.

I guess because of its production, not poluting. Large plots of land are used for fuel instead of food farming, in worst cases even forests are cut down.
