I see only 9 (counting Nuuk and Salt Lake which are disputable). Sao Tome and Principe is the country, the question about Chad involves a capital, but that would still be less than half...

Kyiv is not non-English. Both are acceptable English spellings. For some reason Kiev or Kiyev is considered to be the English equivalent of Russian Киев while Kyiv is favored by Ukrainians as the English-language equivalent of Ukrainian Київ. They all sound the same to me.
