Have you missed these awesome quizzes? #3 - SVG Map quizzes

Hello dear JetPunkers!

It's time for a third HYMTAQ (using the full name is actually better, this acronym is very weird...)!

But before starting, I would like to thank you, because this week, Country Shapes in my Burger, a beutiful quiz created by Elboy and presented in the first "Have you missed these awesome quizzes?" (yes, it's better as it...) will surely get featured (with 78 nominations at the writing of this blog!)! I know it's not only thank to these blogs, and I'm almost sure this quiz would have been featured without them, but maybe it helped it, so I'm very happy about it! Thank you all of taking what I write in consideration!

To precise, this blog is about map quizzes. But, as always, there are many very good map quizzes on JetPunk, and I select only five of them in my blog. If your quiz doesn't appear it, it doesn't mean that I think it's a bad one. Plus, some "map concepts", or general themes, like "Modern day countries of the ...", will probably have their own blog in a few time.Thanks for understanding!

My opinion: I start this blog very strongly with a quiz which is just amazing, by the very talentuous Crem! So yes, the answers of this quiz are the countries of the world. But I’m sure you have all trie Countries of the World quiz, and I’m sure you like it. So what about a quiz with the same concept, but with a beatiful layout? Because the globe spins! It’s just amazing! Honestly, taking this quiz, I think the only thing you can think is « I have to nominate it! ».

My opinion: This quiz is a very nice one, not thanks to its SVG, which is for sure very clean and well done, but classical. However the idea is excellent, because it mixes geography and mythology in the same quiz. It’s very entertaining to place on a map legendary locations link to the beautiful stories of Odysseus. To resume, it’s a very nice quiz you have to try!

Countries on GDP Pixelated Map

My opinion: In this quiz, you have to guess countries on a world map whose size depends of... its GDP! Every little squares represent one million dollars, so it's both sad and funny to see the size of Africa, for example. But the map is beatiful and, in my opinion, very interesting. I think it's a very clever idea mixed with an excellent realization: all is here to get featured, no?

My opinion: To clarify all before starting this quiz, yes, Dodoma get inspiration on ******* for this, but it’s not for it that it’s a bad quiz. It’s actually a very nice concept: you have to guess a mysterious country on a world map by trying countries which indicate on the map their proximity to the country you have to found using color from white if you are far away to dark red if you are very close. It’s very entertaining, and it depends of the lucky you have on your first try. It’s actually closer to the game than the quiz. A very funny quiz you should take!

Random Point on Land to European Country

My opinion: I think I don't have to present you the concept of this quiz, because the world version met a huge success! Twenty points appear randomly on a Europe map and you have to guess te countries they are related to. It's, I think, quite easy, but I love this concept first because it's very entertaining, and next because answers change everytime. There are almost 3,000 possible points on this map! Isn't it awesome? And if you like it, there is for sure the world featured version, but also a US one!
